Microsoft postpones multimedia strategy day

Officials at Microsoft have confirmed that a multimedia strategy day scheduled for January 28 has been postponed because of a schedule conflict with Microsoft employees who were to attend the conference. The day-long event was to introduce Talisman, yet another multimedia architecture from the Redmond company, and a new version of DirectX. The meeting will be rescheduled for a later date
