Microsoft plans new version of IE 4.0

In a move that shouldn't surprise anyone familiar with Internet software, Microsoft's Yusuf Mehdi, a group product manager for the Internet Platform and Tools Division, let slip that the company is preparing a new version of Internet Explorer 4.0 for release. Expected to be dubbed "IE 4.01," this new version will fix security flaws and other bugs. IE 4.01 is expected "in the near future." I'll have more details as they become available
