JSI Tip 9157. How do I enable complex passwords in my Windows Server 2003 Domain?

When you first create a Windows Server 2003 domain, complex passwords are enabled by default.

To modify password settings, specially on an upgraded domain:

1. Using GPMC (Group Policy Management Console), Edit the Default Domain Policy.

2. Navigate to Computer Configuration / Windows Settings / Security Settings / Account Policies / Password Policy.
