JSI Tip 3532. How do I toggle the Start menu Administrative Tools via the registry?

You can manually control whether the Administrative Tools folder appears on the Start menu by navigating to Start / Settings / Taskbar & Start Menu / Advanced and checking or un-checking the Display Administrative Tools box.

To do it via the registry, use Regedt32 to navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

Set the StartMenuAdminTools value name, a REG_SZ data type, to YES or NO.
