JSI Tip 1673. How to I get a W9x client to display a domain logon confirmation?

You can cause W9x to display a dialog box that lists the validating server when a successful domain logon occurs.

To configure the W9x client, use Regedit to navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Network\Logon

Add a DWORD value name of DomainLogonMessage and set it to 1.
