The subject messages can happen if the W9x client passes the wrong credentials.
Possible solutions are:
- When creating a phone book entry on W9x, keep user name, password and domain empty to cause a prompt for the proper credentials.
- Edit the W9x registry and set:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\RemoteAccess\Profile\<connection name>\Domain
and
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\RemoteAccess\Profile\<connection name>\Username
