Internet Explorer security hole fixed

Microsoft has posted a patch for the security hole in Internet Explorer that allows rogue hyperlink shortcuts to run applications on the user's machine. The patch works for Internet Explorer 3.01 for Windows 95 and NT; a patch for 3.0 is "coming soon."
