If I have a multiboot scenario on my machine, can each instance of an OS have the same computer name?

A. If each instance of an OS participates in the same Windows 2002/XP/2000 domain, each OS instance must have a different machine name because the system uses the machine name to create the domain account. If the OSs are in a workgroup or in different domains, they can have the same machine name.

Sharing a static IP address isn't an issue because no more than one OS can run on the machine at any given time.
