Intel will announce its fastest microprocessors yet this week with the introduction of its 350 and 400 MHz Pentium IIs, which run on a new 100 MHz bus. Code-named "Deschutes", the new microprocessors will be immediately available from all kinds of hardware vendors, such as IBM, Dell, Compaq, Hewlett-Packard, Gateway, and NEC. Systems based on the new components will be sold as everything from high-end servers to power-user desktops.
This also means I'm finally buying a new PC. What a great time to be in the market. :)
