With Windows 8.1 winding its way out to the masses, there are those who would rather try out the updated operating system instead of cashing in a Microsoft Store in-store gift card to purchase it.
I now have Windows 8.1 running on a Surface Pro, Surface RT, Lenovo Tablet 2, and a Dell Vostro mini-tower. And, I like it. I like it a lot. But, that's me. Some of you, particularly those tasked with making a decision for the Enterprise, may have different ideas about the new OS. And, since that decision will affect the entire organization, you also want to make sure to test the proper version of Windows 8.1 that is designed with business in mind.

Microsoft has made available a 90-day trial for Windows 8.1. Enterprise. Offered to IT Professionals, but, really, anyone can download it. However, the download is provided in ISO format, so there's a good chance not just anyone (except IT Pros) know what to do with it.
