FrontPage security bug fixed

Thanks to Dallman Ross for the tip: Microsoft has fixed a "file access vulnerability" in the FrontPage Personal Web Server running on Windows 95 or 98 (Windows NT is not affected, nor is Personal Web Server for Windows 95/98). The vulnerability could allow files on the server to be accessed by an unauthorized user who knew the name of the file and requested it via a specific non-standard URL.

A patch is now available to fix this vulnerability, and Microsoft recommends that affected customers download and install it. You can find this patch, and more information about the bug, at the FrontPage Updates portion of the OfficeUpdate Web site
