FrontPage 2000 to appear this Fall

Another year, another release of FrontPage from Microsoft. This time around Microsoft is promising to better integrate FrontPage with its upcoming Office suite, Office 2000. FrontPage 2000 will also do away with the separate "Explorer" and "Editor" windows and allow budding Web developers to access all of the products features from a single place. Other new features include code reuse with Office 2000, so that many of Office's new features--such as configurable menus--will be available in FrontPage 2000.

One intriguing possibility that Microsoft is looking at is actually bundling FrontPage 2000 with Office 2000.

"We're thinking about it," said FrontPage product manager Pricilla Mistele
