Developers: ActiveX Demystified

Last weekend, I read a great article explaining ActiveX and COM in Byte Magazine and I'm pleased to mention that it is now available online too. Oddly, one of the authors of this article, David Chappel, is responsible for a thoroughly confusing and low-level book about ActiveX from Microsoft Press called "Understanding ActiveX and OLE." Don't be put off by this, however: if you've been looking for an understandable explanation of this technology, Chappel's "ActiveX Demystified" article is highly recommended.
