As expected, Netscape Corporation announced Communicator 4.5, the latest version of its Web browser suite of applications. A beta version is due by the end of the month, and the product will be co-developed with version 5.0, which features a new user interface and more radical enhancements. As discussed previously in WinInfo, Communicator 4.5 includes some new features that make the product easier to use, but it isn't a major upgrade.
The final version of Communicator 4.5 is due in December, which seems to significantly impact the release of 5.0, now due sometime in late 1999
