Bing Smart Search in Windows 8.1

You may have data strewn across several different services and sometimes locating a specific piece can be daunting. Windows 8.1 brings a new Bing Smart Search that seeks to eliminate the pains of looking everywhere. With a single search Bing Smart Search will attempt to locate your chosen topic on your device, in the Cloud, and on the web simultaneously.

This is one thing I believe is still to be realized and whoever finally solves the problem will be master of all. Could Microsoft do it with Bing Smart Search? I don't know, but at least it's a step. Will Bing Smart Search ever work with other, non-Microsoft services? Not right away, but Microsoft is steadily making it's services and apps available to other platforms, so who knows what the future holds.

Microsoft has released a video to help get you comfortable with the new search feature for Windows 8.1…
