Q. You cannot use a serial cable connection to connect a Windows XP computer to a Windows Vista computer?

When you use a null modem serial cable, like a Laplink cable or a Bluetooth serial connection, to connect a Windows XP computer to a Windows Vista computer, the connection does not work properly.

To workaround this behavior, use Ethernet cables or a network hub to establish communication between the computers.
