Q. How can I get a picture of my or someone else's Xbox Live avatar?

A. A standard URL is available:

http://avatar.xboxlive.com/avatar/<XBox Live ID>/avatar-body.png

Just put your Live ID into the URL. Mine is http://avatar.xboxlive.com/avatar/NTFAQGuy/avatar-body.png. (Yes, I've been taken over by Reach.)
