According to sources at Netscape, the first beta for Navigator 4.0 will debut the week of December 23rd. Official Netscape developers can currently download an alpha version of the new browser, which will not be available as a stand alone client, but instead as part of an integrated suite of applications called Communicator. In a related development, a Java-enabled version of Netscape Navigator is now available from the Netscape home page
