Microsoft fixes one NT SP problem

You will recall from last week that Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 2, designed to fix bugs in the network operating system, surprised many users by adding two new bugs to the mix. Microsoft fixed the first bug earlier this week and, apparently, fixed the other while I was gone. The bug fixes to the Service Pack release can be downloaded from the Microsoft FTP site. In a related development, the recent barrage of complaints over the Service Pack bugs has lead Microsoft to review its process of releasing these patches. The company has agreed to test the Service Packs better in the future before releasing them to the public
