Microsoft drops Visual C++ subscription program

Lack of customer interest is causing Microsoft to drop their Visual C++ Subscription program. The program, which required a yearly fee, allowed developers to automatically receive four incremental product upgrades. Microsoft will honor existing subscriptions but will not offer new subscriptions with Visual C++ 5.0, due on March 19
