JSI Tip 9568. Your Windows XP Start menu's right click context menu is missing?

When you right click a shortcut or folder on the Windows XP Start menu, the context menu does NOT display.

This behavior will occur if the Enable dragging and dropping item is NOT checked:

1. Right click the Start button and press Properties.

2. On the Start Menu tab, check Start menu and press the Customize button.

3. Select the Advanced tab.

4. Under Start menu items, check the Enable dragging and dropping box and press OK.

5. Press Apply.

6. Press OK.
