JSI Tip 7759. You cannot select the Turn Off Computer dialog box elements with your Windows XP <B>SP1</B> keyboard?

When you start Windows XP and use the mouse to press Turn off computer on the Welcome screen, you cannot use the keyboard to select Standby, Restart, or the U key to 'Turn Off Computer'.

To workaround this behavior, use the Tab key and press Enter to display the Turn Off Computer dialog. This will give the keyboard focus, so you can use the S, R, or U keys. After pressing the appropriate key, press Enter.
