JSI Tip 6990. Installing AOL on Windows XP causes Windows Explorer to fail when sending E-mail?

When you install AOL on Windows XP, you may experience:

When you right-click a file, point to Send To / Mail Recipient,
or when you use Internet Explorer and point to File / Send and select Page by E-mail or Link by E-mail,

you may receive an error message similar to:

Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost.

Restart Windows Explorer.
