If you recently joined the client computer to the domain, and subsequently restored the computer's System State, clients cannot log on because the secure channel connection between the domain controller and the client computer has been broken.
The only solution, other than restoring the System State to a time after the computer was joined to the domain, is:
1. Remove the computer from the domain.
2. Add the computer to the domain.
3. Recover any lost local profiles.
