JSI Tip 5404. How do I prevent a Windows XP user from burning a CD?

Using the native support for CD recording, a Windows XP user can burn a CD.

If you wish to prevent this:

1. Copy / Paste the following into a NoCDBurning.reg file:

REGEDIT4

\[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\]
"NoCDBurning"=dword:00000001

2. Run Regedit /s NoCDBurning.reg

NOTE: This change will NOT take effect until the user logs off.
