JSI Tip 4706. You cannot install some programs on the 64-bit platform running Windows XP?

When you try to install a program on the 64-bit platform running Windows XP, you receive one of the following:

Install.exe is not a valid win32 application. 

Setup.exe is not a valid win32 application.

If the installation program is 16-bit, the program will not install, as Windows XP for 64-bit platforms does not support 16-bit programs.
