JSI Tip 10144. Message Queuing 3.0 does not function as a supporting server after you apply SP2 (Service Pack 2) to Windows XP?

After you apply Sp2 to Windows XP, MSMQ (MicroSoft Message Queuing) no longer functions as a supporting server.

Microsoft intends Windows XP to be a desktop operating system, with a limited number of network connections.

Run MSMQ on Windows Server 2003 or greater.
