SnapStream Media announced this week that its Beyond Media software has gone gold. The new platform incorporates the company's Beyond TV digital video recording (DVR) software, as well as photo, music, video, and DVD features similar to those of Windows XP Media Center Edition. To coincide with Beyond Media's launch, the company will start a developer's network. The network will provide resources for those who want to build plug-ins and visual skins for the new product. We're not sure when the product will launch, but we expect to hear a lot about it at CES in January.
