Q. If I use IP virtualization with Windows Server 2008 R2 Remote Desktop Services Session Host, can I configure a certain user to always get the same virtual IP address?

A. IP virtualization allows sessions on a Server 2008 R2 Remote Desktop Session Host to have unique IP addresses assigned by DHCP. This virtualized IP address can be for the entire session or for particular applications within the session. Unfortunately, this virtualization of the IP is configured on a per-server level and you can't set specific users to get a specific IP addresses.
