HotFix: Windows 10 upgrades are not downloaded in System Center Configuration Manager

Microsoft just released the brand new version of System Center Configuration Manager (ConfigMgr 1511) last month. As part of the release, you’d expect that the Windows 10 bugs would be worked out, considering a major piece of the value of the new version is to manage and maintain Windows 10 systems.

A hot topic in the ConfigMgr community over the last couple weeks, the initial release of 1511 failed to download Windows 10 upgrades and the “Upgrades” entry was missing in the classifications list.

A hotfix is now available that will allow Windows 10 upgrades to be available for deployment using ConfigMgr.

It’s available here: Windows 10 upgrades are not downloaded in System Center Configuration Manager
