How Do I Enable Verbose Boot, Shutdown, Logon, and Logoff

By default, Windows 2000's policies are configured to provide standard message output for certain situations, such as when a user logs on or off or shuts down or restarts the system. By adjusting the Group Policy, an administrator can enable a more verbose message output that provides more detailed information about what is transpiring on the system.
