"Internet World" Magazine Conducts 2002 Enterprise Storage Survey

In conjunction with investment research firm Punk Ziegel and market research firm Perseus Development, "Internet World" magazine recently surveyed 495 executives and line of business (LOB) managers about their current and future storage-solution deployments (

http://www.internetworld.com/press_releases/08062002.php ). This study documents the increasing demand for enterprise storage solutions.

Of the respondents, 49 percent identified storage as a "business critical priority." With disaster recovery, increasing numbers of customers, and the importance of fast access to data driving demand, 66 percent of the respondents anticipate spending more than $10,000 within the next 12 months on storage products and services, and 26 percent expect to spend more than $100,000.
