For the third year in a row, SQL Server Pro and Windows IT Pro are partnering with Global Knowledge on a comprehensive IT skills and salary survey. The survey takes a wide-ranging look at trends in technology careers, including the value of formal and informal training and also certification.
Salary trends will be evaluated by job title, region, industry, and experience. Survey results will include measures of job satisfaction and business climate for IT projects.
This year, the survey explores career opportunities in an effort to identify specific skill sets that employers are looking for, including cloud computing expertise, among other topics.
The survey will be open until October 24, 2014. We will start sharing insights in November and will publish the full survey results in early 2015.
