SQL Down Under - show 15 with Kim Tripp

Earlier this month, Dr. Greg Lowe posted another fine podcast on (www.sqldownunder.com) with Kim Tripp as the speaker.  Kim gives some tech talk about indexing on SQL Server and then waxes poetic about scuba diving.

In case you didn't know, Kim is a long-time favorite at the PASS conferences (www.sqlpass.org) and has, most recently, produced an excellent series of webcasts for Microsoft covering tons of database administration topics on SQL Server 2005.

As another sidebar, Kim was the SQL Server instructor to teach me about the Microsoft product waaaaay back in, hmmm, 1996 or so.  She was a fantastic instructor then and equally good now.  She took my game to a whole new level.  I'll never forget how to tune hash buckets because of Kim, despite the fact that SQL Server no longer allows you to tune hash buckets.  LOL!  Any, if you get the chance, you should definitely listen to her lectures on the air or, even better, in person.

Just out of curiousity, have you had your game ratcheted up a notch after spending time with Kim?  Curious minds want to know!

And of course, if you would rather not post publicly, feel free to email me directly at [email protected].

Best regards,

-Kevi
