Ever the performance junky, I found an interesting article about improving SSIS performance at http://www.databasejournal.com/features/mssql/article.php/3627561. The author, Marcin Policht, mentions the usual suspects for package performance (like turning off logging and debugging) but also brings up some very interesting tidbits that I wasn't aware of (like the dangers of OLE DB Data Flow transformations). Good stuff...
