Delaney to Explore "Tracing Your SQL Server Applications" in Webinar

In the second session of a four-part performance-tuning Webinar series from SQL Server Magazine, SQL Server author and Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Kalen Delaney will present "Tracing Your SQL Server Applications" January 25 at 1:00 P.M. Eastern time. In this hour-long session, Delaney will examine both SQL Server Profiler and server-side traces for analyzing query and application behavior. She'll cover tracing for troubleshooting and analysis, how to capture trace information for replay and testing, and how to automatically start and stop traces. Delaney will also explain how to use the black-box feature to capture ongoing server activity and track down unanticipated problems. During the last 15 minutes of the session, Delaney will answer Webinar participants' questions. All questions pertaining to the session topic and not answered during the Q&A time will be answered via email as soon as possible after the session. SQL Server Magazine archives all Webinars and the Q&A answers for up to 6 months so that attendees can go back and revisit them as many times as they want.

In addition to Delaney's "SQL Server Internals for Troubleshooting and Tuning" series, SQL Server Magazine LIVE! Webinars will also include sessions about XML, database modeling, data-access technologies, .NET development, and more. Go to the SQL Server Magazine Web site or email [email protected] for more information or to register.
