IT/Dev Connections Speakers Announced for Fall 2013

SharePoint and Microsoft technology experts ready for Las Vegas in October

IT/Dev Connections, the conference of the Microsoft technology community, announced its speaker line-up today.

For the SharePoint sessions, industry experts and Microsoft MVPs will present all-new sessions on SharePoint admin and developer topics. (See the schedule at SharePoint Connections.) The conference is September 30-Oct 4 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

The event has become well-known over the years for offering co-located workshops and sessions for technology pros working in Exchange (Exchange Connections), Windows (Windows Connections), SQL Server (SQL Server Connections), or developer (Dev Connections) positions.

The roster for this year’s conference is a "who's who" of experts, including Dan Holme, Scot Hillier, Asif Rehmani, and Paul Swider, in SharePoint.

Well-known industry analysts and thought leaders will be speaking as well, such as Paul Thurrott, Mary Jo Foley, Mark Russinovich, Tony Redmond, Sean Deuby, Rod Trent, Michael Otey, Chander Dhall, Johan Arwidmark, and Tim Ford.

Known for years as the premiere professional development and networking event for the Microsoft technology community, IT/Dev Connections features sessions that are co-located at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, making the event convenient for organizations seeking to enhance skill sets for multiple specialist positions.

"Our 2013 IT/Dev Connections program is the strongest we have ever presented," said Penton Technology Market Leader Peg Miller. "It capitalizes on the comprehensive scope of our information and education portfolio — Windows IT Pro, Paul Thurrott's SuperSite for Windows, SQL Server Pro, Dev Pro, SharePoint Pro, and myITforum — to connect the Microsoft IT and developer community face-to-face in a focused learning and networking environment."

Event sessions take attendees through the entire implementation process, looking at Microsoft technologies from all perspectives. Attendees from past years say they value the real-world aspect of the sessions and the independent point of view of the speakers.

Besides SharePoint 2013 sessions, the conference features all new content programming in sessions on HTML5, ASP.NET, Exchange, SQL Server, Windows, Visual Studio, Windows Azure, Cloud, and Office 365.
