Q. Can Hyper-V run VMs from an NFS share?

A. No. While Windows Server has an NFS Server component (to enable it to provide services to NFS clients) and a NFS Client component to access NFS shares, it is not possible to run most services from NFS shares which includes Hyper-V VMs.
