Create a Hyper-V 2012 USB Boot Stick

Q: How can I easily create a bootable USB stick to run Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2012 from?

A: The free Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2012 hypervisor is fully supported to be run from a USB stick. However, creating the USB stick isn't as simple as simply installing Windows Server 2012 and pointing to a USB drive.

Fortunately a tool is available that creates the USB stick completely automatically and is available from the Microsoft MSDN site. Although the tool says its for Hyper-V Server 2008 R2, it also works with Hyper-V Server 2012 without issue.

Note that you can't use this for regular Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V. This is only for the free Microsoft Hyper-V Server.
