Q. Can I attach a device to multiple VMs using Discrete Device Assignment?
A. No. Discrete Device Assignment (DDA) maps a PCI-Express device through to a specific VM which then has exclusive access (even the host has no access to the device). You cannot share a device between multiple VMs. If sharing is a requirement another technology may usable, for example if it was a graphical device then RemoteFX may be a solution.
