Q: What's the fastest, easiest way to disable User Account Control (UAC) on a Windows Vista machine?

A: You can very easily disable UAC from the System Configuration utility (msconfig.exe). Start the utility, go to the Tools tab, select the Disable UAC tool, then click Launch. You'll see a command prompt that says the operation completed successfully and a security notification bubble will appear in the system tray that informs you that UAC is turned off. To apply the change, you must restart your computer.
