Today I stumbled upon a site with a long list of useful tools. You can find the tools over at NirSoft, some of which are useful for security administrators.
For example, ActiveXHelper lets you view information about installed ActiveX controls and lets you enable and disable them quickly, which is very helpful for eliminating many security risks. WinUpdatesList lets you view of a list of service packs and hotfixes installed on your computer.
There are at least 2 dozen tools available overall, so head and see which ones might be useful to you.
