HEC of a Lot of Blogs

If you didn't make it to WinHEC then you can still visit vicariously through numerous blogs. Microsoft posted a list of at least two dozen blogs where people offer coverage of the hardware engineering conference. 

Although Microsoft has invested heavily in security the brunt of its Next-Generation Secure Computing Base (NGSCB, formerly code-named Palladium) will not be ready by the time Longhorn ships. The new operating system will tenatively become available by December 2006.
