FBI and DHS Warn Agencies About Using Android

In a recently released and unclassified document, the Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Bureau of Investigation outline the mobile threat landscape to all police, fire, EMS and security personnel. In the single page document, Android takes the heat for being both the world's most widely used mobile OS and the most unsecure.

The bulletin goes on to outline potential security threats such as text messaging Trojans, rootkits, and fake Google Play domains, and then gives prescriptive strategies for mitigating attacks.
