Tip of the week: Move files quickly between cloud storage services

Thanks to William Alford for the tip: With the cloud storage wars heating up between Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox and others, users want to test other services but don't want to manually download and then upload all the files that are in the service they're currently using. There's a faster way: the Mover service works with OneDrive, OneDrive for Business (SharePoint), Dropbox, Box, Google Drive, Egnyte, Copy, Amazon S3, and many others.

Plus: Learn to program in C# with Bob Tabor. New versions of C# fundamentals, just released.

Software pick of the week: OneNote

It's free, wherever you want it: Windows (desktop), Windows 8/RT, Windows Phone, Mac, Android handsets and tablets, iPhone, iPad, or on the web.

And don't forget the goodies:

Bonus pick: Eric Ligman is at it again. He's published a bunch of great O365 resources, including links for free training, courses and e-books:

Codename pick of the week: Hekaton

What's behind the codename of Microsoft's new in-memory OLTP engine. Is Hekaton A. Greek for factor of a hundred; B. the name of a giant mythical creature; C. a Dominican thrash band; D. All of the Above

Beer pick of the week: O'Hara's Irish Stout

It's never too late for a St. Paddy's pick:
