9 Cloud Dashboards to Check When Your Cloud Goes Down

In this slideshow, ITPro Today gathers nine cloud dashboards that you can check to see if a cloud issue is more widespread than just your workloads.

Publicly available cloud dashboards can be a great resource when it comes to determining whether an outage is isolated or if it is impacting other businesses.

In addition to status updates, cloud dashboards typically offer links to support pages, SLA information, and other useful data when in the midst of a service disruption. In the throws of a cloud outage, providers use these dashboards as a central place to communicate status updates, including in some cases, security warnings.

A business that relies on cloud likely already has tools in place to help monitor when things go wrong (which, spoiler alert, they will, just look at Sunday’s Google Cloud outage), but there are cloud dashboards that can be bookmarked now to pull up the next time a public cloud outage happens. In fact, most of these cloud dashboards have an RSS feed available as well.
