In the past, you either had to wait for Office 2013 updates to reveal themselves or walk through a couple convoluted steps to retrieve updates.
Service Pack 1 for Office 2013 now includes an Update Now option for those that just can't wait, or need something to click on while waiting for a server to update.
You can find it by going to File – Accounts and then clicking or tapping the dropdown for Update Options.
Oh, look! I have updates available.
