Microsoft Offers Apple Watch Support for OneDrive

Thinking of buying the Apple Watch? Pre-ordered one already?

On Saturday, Microsoft updated its OneDrive app for iOS (iPhone and iPad) so that it now works with the Apple Watch in a limited fashion. If you have (or will have) an Apple Watch, you can do the following:

  • View your most recent photos and delete photos you don't want to keep

  • Find photos by tag

  • View your albums

I'm not sure why you would want to do any of this on a screen size that small. Mobile screen sizes continue to bigger instead of smaller for a reason. Personally, I blame my insistence on acquiring larger screens on my aging eyesight, but that's just me.

I can't imagine pulling up family photos to share around and then shoving my wrist into someone's face to view a picture the size of a postage stamp. But, this is the day we live in.

Once your Apple Watch arrives, you can grab the updated OneDrive app from iTunes:
