Check Office 365 Service Status on-the-go Using Your Windows Phone

If you are an administrator for your company's Office 365 implementation, you are familiar with using the web-based administrative console to monitor the health and status of the service.

Microsoft has just released a Windows Phone app that allow administrators to monitor health and status on-the-go, without having to do the famous "stop, drop, boot, and click" when users are reporting problems. The app, Office 365 Admin, provides a direct view into the service health for SharePoint, Exchange, Identity, Lync, and Office 365.

An active Office 365 subscription is required, along with administrative user rights, but once installed and logged in, the admin can quickly identify potential issues that could be impacting the business users. When an end-user calls with a problem, it's always valuable to be able to take a quick glance at the Office 365 services status to understand whether the problem is with the end-user or the subscription.

To get it, either search the Windows Phone store for 'Office 365 Admin' or…
