TierDeveloper 4.0 Released for .NET
AlachiSoft announced the availability of TierDeveloper 4.0, an object-to-relational mapping and code generation tool. Use TierDeveloper 4.0 to map objects to relational tables; embed powerful SQL, including queries and stored procedure calls; and generate fully-functional .NET components (VB.NET and C#). With TierDeveloper 4.0 you can also generate real-life ASP.NET and Windows Forms applications to use against the generated objects.
The latest features added to version 4.0 include many-to-many relationships; Access and DB2 8.1 support; unmapped object support; and support for updatable views, formula fields, identity columns and Oracle/DB2 sequences, Typed Datasets, and more.
Technologies supported by TierDeveloper include .NET components (COM+ or standalone); Visual Studio.NET 2002/2003; ADO.NET (database access through OLEDB and Managed Providers for SQL Server 2000, Oracle, and DB2); ASP.NET Web applications; Windows Forms applications; and Web services and Windows Forms-based remote clients. Additionally, TierDeveloper supports these database servers: Microsoft SQL Server 7.0/2000; Oracle 8i/9i/10g; DB2 7.x/8.1; and Access 2000 or later.
